Ballinluig Rooms & Suites
We know that when you're away from home you want to feel as relaxed as possible about where you are staying - this is why we provide a detailed description of each of our rooms so you can choose a room that best suits your needs.
All our rooms and suites come equipped with:
- Free car parking (to front and at side of the property)
- A USB socket for easy charging of your phone/devices
- Sea Kelp hand soap and shampoo/body wash
- Free Wi-Fi throughout the property
- Tea/coffee making facilities
- A television
- A hairdryer
- Access to lounge area
- Towels and bath sheets
- Iron & Ironing board (on request)
All our rooms are sold on a room only basis (no breakfast included), but our team are always very happy to provide recommendations of places to grab a quick breakfast on the go or something a bit more leisurely.
We love dogs here at Ballinluig and have made some of our rooms dog friendly so you can bring along your four legged companion! Please get in touch if you would like to bring your dog so we can make sure you get assigned a suitable room. We charge a £10 dog fee to accommodate for extra cleaning.
Check-in is from 16:00 until 19:30. We regret that it is not possible to check-in before 16:00. If you expect to arrive later than 19:30 please contact our team to find out about out of hours check-in. Check-out is by 10:30.

The Main Building
Room 1 - Superior Twin/Super King (Dog Friendly)
Room 1 is on the first floor and is one of our largest rooms. Its bed can either be made up as two single beds or one large super king bed (please specify preference when booking). It has duel aspect windows, which floods the room with light. The ensuite bathroom has a bath with a shower above. The room has a sofa for you to watch TV or enjoy the views of the hills from.
Room 2 - Budget Double
Room 2 is our smallest room. It is located on the first floor with views to the back garden. It may be compact, but it has all the essentials you need to use it as a base to explore the area from. It has an ensuite shower room with the same Sea Kelp toiletries we use throughout the property.
Room 3 - Standard Double
Room 3 is one of our standard double rooms on the first floor with views to the back garden. As well as the standard amenities such as our complimentary tea tray and hanging space, it also has a desk space to work at and a comfy chair to enjoy a book on.
Room 4 - Standard Twin/Super King
Room 4 is on the first floor of the main building and is one of our Standard Twin/Super King rooms. It can be made up as either two single beds or one extra large bed (please specify preference when booking). It has all our standard amenities, as well as a desk to work at and a chair to enjoy the garden view in. The spacious shower room comes equipped with our Sea Kelp toiletries.
Room 5 - Standard Double (Dog Friendly)
Room 5 is perfect for our lightest sleeping guest as it is located to the back of the first floor facing the garden. It is now one of our dog friendly rooms and comes with a standard double bed. In addition to the standard amenities, it has a desk space for those needing to do some work while they are away.
Room 6 - Standard Twin/Super King
Room 6 is one of our most popular rooms. As one of our Standard Twin/Super King rooms it offers the flexibility to be made up as two single beds or one large super king sized bed (please specify preference when booking). This is our only standard Twin/Super King room with a bath so perfect for those looking for a soak after a long day.
Room 7 - Small Double
Room 7 is located on the first floor and is our second smallest double room with views to the garden. It enjoys all the essential amenities such as our tea/coffee tray and hanging space. It also features a full length bath in the bathroom, with shower over.
Suite 8 - One Bedroom Suite (Dog Friendly)
Suite 8 occupies the southern face of the first floor of the building and has all the essentials you need for a longer stay. The suite comprises: a bedroom with views to the South - with a standard double bed, desk and hanging space; a shower room; and a living space with views of the garden - with a sofa, table & chairs and a small kitchenette area complete with a fridge and sink.
The Annexe Rooms
These rooms are located in our Annexe, which is structurally part of the main building, but has a separate outside entrance.
Room A10 - Standard Twin/Super King in Annexe (Dog Friendly)
Room A10 is our only ground floor room and is located in our Annexe. As one of our Standard Twin/Super King rooms it can be made up as either two single beds or one extra large bed (please specify preference when booking). It has all our standard amenities, as well as a desk to work at and a chair to sit and enjoy a cup of tea in. The shower room comes equipped with our Sea Kelp toiletries. It is also dog friendly so you can bring your four legged companion with you too!
Room A11 - Standard Twin/Super King in Annexe
Room A11 is located on the first floor of our Annexe and is one of our largest rooms. As one of our Standard Twin/Super King rooms it offers the flexibility to be made up as two single beds or one large super king sized bed (please specify preference when booking). This is our only standard Twin/Super King room in the Annexe with a bath so perfect for those looking for a long soak to recover after a day on the hills.
Room A12 - Superior Twin/Super King in Annexe
Room A12 is on the first floor and is our largest room. Its bed can either be made up as twin beds or one large super king bed (please specify preference when booking). It has an east facing view over to the hills opposite. Room A12 is our only ensuite bathroom that has a separate bath and shower. The room has a spacious seating area with a sofa and table and chairs for you to relax in.
Booking Terms & Conditions
PAYMENT POLICY:
The full balance will be charged to the card provided at the time of booking the day before check-in. If payment has not been made 24 hours prior to check-in then the booking will be cancelled and a cancellation fee of the full amount will be charged.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Reservations may be cancelled without charge until midnight the day before arrival (40 hours before check-in). If your reservation is cancelled after the free cancellation period has ended then the full value will be charged.
GROUP BOOKING POLICY:
For reservations where three or more rooms have been booked by the same person then our group booking policy shall apply.

If you are arriving from The South - Take the exit for Ballinluig and at the mini roundabout take the third exit across the flyover. As you come into Ballinluig village you will see the local Post Office on your right hand side, continue on until you come a little junction on the right and then turn onto Ballinluig Main Street. The Ballinluig is the long white building immediately on the right hand side.
If you are arriving from The North - Take the exit for Ballinluig then take the first left onto the Main Road. The Ballinluig is the long white building immediately on the right hand side.
